Goda masala is a special spice blend unique to Maharashtrian cuisine. the spices used here are aromatic spices and these lend a subtle sweet aroma without hints of pungency & heat.
Ingredients :-
- Cardamons ā 5 medium pieces.
- Cinnamon Powder ā 1/2 tea spoon.
- Cloves ā 5 nos.
- Bay Leaves ā 2 nos
- White sesame (til) seeds ā 2 tea spoon.
- Coriander seeds ā 2 teaspoon.
- Flaked Coconut ā 4 tea spoon.
- Pepper corns ā 10.
- Cassia Buds (Unopened cinnamon flowers) ā 1
- Red Chilies ā 3
- Vegetable Oil ā 1 table spoon.
Method :-
- Heat oil in a non-stick/regular pan.
- Put all the ingredients except coconut and coriander seed in oil.
- Keep them aside.
- Roast coconut and coriander seed separately without oil.
- Transfer the ingredients into large jar of Cherie mixer blender.
- Attached the grinding blade and grind to get a fine powder.
- Store in an air tight container.
